Up Close

Flowers make great photographic subjects — they don't move! Unless of course it's windy, which in Wellington it often is.

Most of these photos were taken with close-up filters on the lens, the downside of this is the depth-of-field is very small, hence the soft focus look. But now I've got a real macro lens! More photos coming...
